About Us

Physicians at the Moose & Squirrel Medical Clinic provide a full scope family medicine practice, including prenatal care, newborn, pediatric and adolescent care; men’s health; women’s health; geriatric and palliative care. We also perform minor surgical procedures and offer comprehensive medical care for patients with complex or chronic diseases. We network with our specialist colleagues throughout Alberta to coordinate care for our patients that cannot be offered in Sundre. We have a passion for preventative health, and ensure that our patients receive screening and testing according to the most up to date medical recommendations.
Being rural family physicians means that we have medical responsibilities in addition to our work in the clinic. We are on call to the Emergency Department at the Sundre Hospital from time to time; and we provide bedside care for our clinic’s patients who are admitted to the Sundre Hospital.
Due to these additional responsibilities, your physician may be called away from the clinic in the middle of the day to care for someone who requires urgent attention at the hospital, and so there may be times when unfortunately your appointment may be delayed or you will have to reschedule an appointment due to unforeseeable circumstances. We hope to keep these disruptions to a minimum, but they will occur from time to time. It is part of the nature of rural medical practice, and though this may disrupt your appointment one day, we appreciate your understanding.

Need a Family Doctor?
New Patients
At this time, we are no longer accepting patients to our family practice. We are actively recruiting new permanent physicians to join our group and will open up when we have done so. We do offer the following specialized services for patients:
- IUD insertion
- Nexplanon subdermal implant
- Obesity management
- Pediatric and Teen Mental Health
To access these services, if you are not a member of our clinic, a referral letter from your family physician and an initial consultation is required to determine if you are a good candidate for these services. Please call our office for more information.
Office Hours
Contact one of our doctors outside office hours for questions or advice. We can make arrangements to see our patients outside regular clinic hours for urgent concerns and minor emergencies. Call us and see if we can help you avoid a trip to the ER.
